A year ago, we announced the formation of a direct sales operation to complement the long-standing network of ECSTA Performance Centres it operates with Micheldever Tyre Services. Much has been achieved in the ensuing 12 months, and we have now appointed the highly-experienced Karl Naylor to the newly-formed role of National Sales Manager in order to oversee this aspect of its burgeoning business.
Reporting to Sales Director Kevin Peck, Karl Naylor (formerly of Grouptyre and Michelin) will lead the car tyre sales team in the further growth of business with our own network of independent retailers, while simultaneously developing new market channels for the brand.
Naylor, 44, brings a wealth of knowledge to the role, having held a variety of sales and marketing positions during nine years with Michelin before a similar period at the national wholesaler Grouptyre; his last four and half years of which were as Managing Director.
Commenting on the appointment, Kumho Sales Director Kevin Peck remarked: “The investment in somebody as well-known and experienced within the industry as Karl demonstrates the significance we attach to this new role, and confirms our determination to markedly increase sales across all channels.
