Day two is complete and so is the Kumho Experience 2014!
We’ve had a thrilling couple of days and don’t really feel like leaving Rockingham…so looks like we’ll try do it all again soon! In total there was 100 of us who landed at Rockingham for the event.
Day 1 saw the Red team storm to victory with an average of 88.4% and congrats to Steven Budd who scored an impressive 91% overall, making his score race driver worthy. We see a career change on the horizon and we’d definitely feel confident in the passenger seat!
Day 2 saw the red team steal the win again with Charlotte George topping the table with a score of 90.6%. Whoever said women can’t drive will be eating their words right about now!
Hopefully everyone will now be even more knowledgeable (if possible!) about our tyres and able to offer the best advice, especially when giving winter tyre advice after tackling the skid avoidance challenge.
Despite all the action we’ve seen over at Rockingham over the two days, one of our highlights has to be how close we got to Auto GP star Michela Cerruti’s racing machine. Unfortunately it was only on loan, however it’s definitely quick enough that they would struggle catching us if we did keep it… Massive thanks to Michela and Super Nova.
So there we are, 48hrs of fun, food and fast cars. Life is so sweet sometimes!
