The testing has begun for Auto GP at Vallelunga.
The Bologna Motor Show last winter unveiled the series’ revamped car and the Vallelunga test has put the technical and aerodynamic updates on a real racetrack.
British teams Super Nova International and Virtuosi Racing will be headlining the pack. Italian Francesco Dracone will be will lining up with the Sears family-owned operation and Virtuosi will be fielding Russian Nikita Ziobin and Brtitain’s Toby Sowery. Only in the last few days has Zele Racing announced their line up will include Andres Mendez and Antonio Pizzonia. The teams will have some strong competition from Ibiza Racing team, who have 2013 Auto GP champion Vittorio Ghirelli alongside driver Giuseppe Cipriani.
Manor MP Motorsport will make an appearance with German Sebastian Balthasar and alongside him, the Dutch squad will feature a duo of experienced Italian driver, Raffaele Giammaria and Luca Persiani.
